anri.index.coarsen_rows(H, n_rows, g)

Sum a histogram’s rows in groups of g: row k goes to k // g.

Parameters:

• H (Array | ndarray | bool | number | bool | int | float | complex) – Flat histogram whose last axis is the n_rows rows

• n_rows (int) – Rows in H

• g (int) – Group size

Returns:

• H (jax.Array) – Flat coarse histogram

• n_rows (int) – Its number of rows, ceil(n_rows / g)
